As downward movement, u = 0

Equation of Motion :

H = (1/2) g t²

= (1/2) x 9.8 x 2.52

= 30.6 m

Answer:

Given:

g=9.8m/sec²

u=0m/s

t=2.5sec

h = ut +½ gt²

h = 0 × 2.5 + ½ × 9.8 × (2.5)²

h = 0 + 4.9 × 6.25

h = 30.625 m
