A stone having a mass of 500 gm is falling from a height . how much kinitic energy does it have at the moment when its velocity is 2 m/s​

Given :

  • Mass of stone = 500 g = 1/2 kg

  • Velocity of stone = 2 m/s

To Find :

  • Kinetic energy of the stone

Solution :

★ Kinetic energy = 1/2mv²

→ 1/2 × 1/2 × ( 2 )²

→ 1/4 × 4

→ 1 J

Kinetic energy of the stone is 1 Joule
