Answer:

Given :

Mass of stone = 500 g = 1/2 kg

Velocity of stone = 2 m/s

To Find :

Kinetic energy of the stone

Solution :

★ Kinetic energy = 1/2mv²

→ 1/2 × 1/2 × ( 2 )²

→ 1/4 × 4

→ 1 J

Kinetic energy of the stone is 1 Joule

k=1/2mv^2 (formula to get kinetic energy)

mass=500g (we need this in kg which is)=1/2kg

velocity=2m/s

putting the values in the formula we get-

1/2×1/2×2^2

1/4×4

(four and four will get cut)

then the final answer we will get is

=1J
