Given:-

✦Mass of the stone = 5 kg

✦Height of the stone = 50 m

______________________

To Find :-

✦The amount of stored energy in the stone.

______________________

Analysis :-

✦We are given with the mass, height and the acceleration due to gravity of the stone.

✦In order to find the amount of stored energy in the stone substitute the values such that potential energy is equal to mass multiplied to height multiplied to the gravity.

______________________

Solution:-

✦Using Formula,

Potential Energy = Mass × Gravity × Height

✦Substitute the value given in question in Formula,

Potential Energy = 5 × 10 × 50

Potential Energy = 50 × 50

Potential Energy = 2500 J

✦Hence,The amount of energy stored in the body is 2500J

The energy stored in the stone will be the potential energy

mass of the stone m = 2kg

Height h = 60 m

The potential energy of the stone:

:  \implies  \sf{PE = 2 \times 10 \times 60} \\  :  \implies \sf{PE = 1200 \: Joule}

Ans.\therefore The amount of energy stored in the body is 1200 Joule.
