final velocity, v=?.

time taken, t=?.

now,

as from the formula of final velocity, v=(2gh)^1/2

v=(2*10*30)^1/2

v=(600)^1/2

v=24.4 m/sec………This is the final velocity

we also know that v=u+at

24.4=0+(10)(t)

t=2.44 sec …. This the time taken
