v^2 = u^2 + 2as

v^2 = 0 + 2 × 9.8 × 100

v^2 = √ 1960

v = 14 √ 10 m .

hope it helps you mate.

formula to be used v^2 = 2 * g * h and substituting values v^2 = 2 * 9.8 m/s^2 * 100 m Continuing v^2 = 19.6 m/s * 100 m; v^2 = 1960 (m/s)^2. We then extract the square root of this value to get ihe speed of the stone.
