Hii Dear,

◆ Answer -

Velocity = 47 m/s upwards

● Explaination -

# Given -

s = 30 m

t = 10 s

# Solution -

For a stone to reach the ground,

s = ut + 1/2 at^2

30 = u × 10 + 1/2 × 10 × 10^2

30 = 10u + 500

10u = -500 + 30

u = -470 / 10

u = -47 m/s

Therefore, velocity of the ballon was 47 m/s in upward direction when stone was dropped from it.

Thanks dear...
