Answer:

use this ,s=ut +1/2at^2

Explanation:

u=0 g =9.8

s=o×4+1/2×9.8×4×4

s=1/2×9.8×16

s=9.8×8

s=78.4

Correct Question:-

A stone is dropped from a tower which strikes the ground after 4 seconds,then height of the tower is?

Given:-

•Time taken(t)=4s

To find:-

•Height of the tower(h)

Solution:-

We know that:-

•In this case,the initial velocity(u) of the stone will be zero as the stone was initially at rest.

•Acceleration due to gravity(g) = 9.8m/s²

Now,by using the 2nd equation of motion we get:-

=>h=ut+1/2gt²

=>h=0×4+1/2×9.8×(4)²

=>h=1/2×9.8×16

=>h=4.9×16

=>h=78.4m

Thus,height of the tower is 78.4m.
