Given:-

  • Initial Velocity = 0m/s

  • Acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s²

  • Time given = 2s.

To Find:-

  • Speed of the stone after 2 second.

Formulae used:-

  • v = u + at

Where,

  • v = Final Velocity
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • t = Time.

Now,

→ v = u + at

→ v = 0 + 10 × 2

→ v = 20m/s

After, 2 second the speed of the stone will be 20m/s.

EXTRA INFORMATION.

  • When any body is dropped then we take u = 0.

  • The force of gravity at the center of te earth is Zero

  • The force of gravity at the pole is maximum and in Equator it is minimum

  • When the object is thrown vertically upward we take v = 0.
