A stone is dropped from the top of a building 200 m high and at the same time another stone projected vertically upwards from the ground with velocity of 50 m/s find where and when the two stone will meet.

At the same time, another stone is projected vertically upwards from the ground with a velocity of 40m/s. From (ii), h=40×5-4.9(5)2=200-122.5=77.5m.
