A stone is dropped from the top of a building it takes 5 seconds to reach the ground. Find its velocity before touches the ground

From the equation of kinematics we have s=ut +1/2at^2

Here t=5sec

a=9.8m/s^2 (free fall)

U=0 (since ball is dropped)

So S= 0 + 1/2*9.8*25

so v = 122.5m/s
