A stone is dropped from the top of a tower 80 metres high.
(1)-how long does it take to reach the ground.
(2)-with what velocity does it hit the ground.​

hey mate here is your answer

V^2 =U^2 +2gh.

Given U =0 ,h=80m

So v^2= 0+2×10×80 =1600,SO V= 40m/s

And from Newton's first equation

v =u+gt ,40=0+10×t,t=4sec.

So answer is 4 sec
