Answer:

9.8m Or 98m

Explanation:

Given :

intial velocity (u) = 0

final velocity (v) = ?

g =9.8 m/s

time = 1second

height of the tower = v = u+ gt

v= 0+ 9.8 x 1

v = 9.8m/s

By the second equation of gravitation

S= 1/2 ut + gt2

S = 1/2 x 0 + 9.8 x (1)

S = 0 + 9.8

S= 9.8m

height =9.8m or 9.8x 10

= 98m
