A stone is dropped from the top of a tower. If it travels
44.1 metres in the last second, calculate the height of the tower.​

Explanation:

Snth = u+a/2(2n-1)

44.1=0+9.8/2(2n-1)

2n-1=9

n=5 (fifth second)

now we have the total time of journey,

S=ut+gt²/2

S=0*5+9.8*25/2

S=245/2=122.5m
