We know that,

s=ut - 1/2gt²

s=0×10-1/2×(9.8×10×10)

s=0-1/2×(980)

s= - 490m

So the height of the tower is 490 metre.

Let g be 10 ms^-2.
time is 10 s.
so s=ut+1/2at^2
s=1/2gt^2 (u is 0 and a=g)
s=1/2×10×100
=100×5
=500

so s is 500 metres
