First we will find the distance the stone covers in 3.13 sec
we will use the second law of motion
s = ut + 1/2 at²
putting the values we get
s = 0 + 1/2*10*3.13²
= 48.98
now the speed of the sound we will find by
s= 2d/t
s= 2*48.98/ 3.13
speed = 31.29 m/sec
