Question

A Stone is released form the building it reaches ground in 3 second . to calculate height of building which formula you will use.

Answer

To calculate the distance traveled by object when time is given.

We will use 2nd equation of motion when time is given

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

Here,

S is distance traveled by object

U is initial velocity of object

T is time taken

a is acceleration

some important term

Speed:- Distance traveled divided by time taken is called speed.

Acceleration :- The rate of change of velocity at per unit time is called acceleration.
