Explanation:

to find the velocity of the stone we have 3 equations that are

V=u+at

v² = u² + 2as

s = ut + ½at²

to find velocity by first equation v = u + at.

we don't have t (time)

with 2nd equation

v² = u² + 2as

we know u is 0 and a is gravity that 9.8m/s2

now,

  {v}^{2}  = 0 + 2 \times 9.8 \times 1960

=19.6×1960

=38,416

=√38416

=196

therefore, the velocity is 196m/s

now time,

v = u + gt

196=0+9.8×t

196=9.8t

196

9.8

=20s

therefore time taken 20sec

velocity-196m/s

time-20s
