a stone is rotated along a circle in a horizontal plane by means of a string at some height above the ground. if the string is cut, the stone moves along?​

it moves along its tangential acceleration because an object undergoing uniform circular motion is moving with a constant speed. Nonetheless, it is accelerating due to its change in direction. The direction of the acceleration is inwards.
