Step-by-step explanation:

U = 5m/s

V = 0m/s

A = - 10m/s^2

S = ?

V^2 - U^2 = 2as

(0)^2 - U^2 = 2*(-10) * S

0 - 25 =-20 * S

- 25 = - 20 * S

S = - 25/20

S = - 5/4

S = - 1.25m

T =?

V = U + AT

0 = 5 + (-10) (t)

0 = 5 - 10t

-5 = - 10t

t = - 5/-10

t = 1/2

t = 0.5s
