In a horizontal projection the radius of curvature is the range of the projection.

The formula for getting range is :

R = ut

Where :

R = horizontal distance in meters otherwise known as the range.

U = initial velocity in m/s

t = Time in seconds.

In our case :

U = 10

t = 3

Doing the substitution

R = 10 × 3= 30 m

Radius of curvature = 30 m
