The initial velocity will be :

U = Vi Sin Ф

Ф = 45°

Vi  = 30m/s

u = 30 × Sin 45

Sin 45 = 0.7071

u = 0.7071 × 30 = 21.21 m/s

We will use the following equation of motion :

V² = u² - 2gs

g = 10

V = 0

u = 21.21

Let S be vertical distance :

Doing the substitution we have :

0 = 449.86 - 20S

0 = 449.86 - 20S

20S = 449.86

S = 22.493

The total height from the ground is :

22.493 + 50 = 72.493m

Answer : 72.493m
