hi,

i am not sure with the answer but still....

height of stone , h = -50m [ taking reference level is at 50m above from ground]

horizontal initial speed of stone , =30m/s.

vertical initial speed of stone ,  = 0m/s

at ground ,

horizontal speed ,

vertical speed ,

now,

now, stone is projected with speed 10√15 at an angle of projection is 45° with horizontal.

so, maximum height = u²sin²θ/2g

= (1500)² × sin²45°/2 × 10

= (1500) × 1/2/20

= 1500/40

= 37.5 m

thanks,

hope it helps u....
