stone during its motion is 10 ms-2 in the downward direction, what will be the height attained by the
stone and how much time will it take to reach there?

Answer:

height is 1.25 m

Explanation:

u=5m/s

v=0m/s

a=g=10m/s sq

t = v-u/-g

t=0.5s

using 2nd eq of motion

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=5x0.5-5x0.25

s=1.25m
