Answer:time required will be 0.5 seconds and height attained will be 1.2m

Explanation:

V=u+at ...v=0 ; u=5; a=-10

Then apply s=ut+1/2at×t and find s

as given that ,

u = 5 metre per sec.

a = - 10 metre per sq sec.

v = 0.

by using v= u +at

0 = 5 + (-10)t

= t = 1/2

that is , time that will take is 0.5 sec.

now , by using s = ut + 1/2 at^2.

s = 5(1/2) + 1/2(-10) ×1/4

s = (5/2-5/4) m

so , s = 5/4

that is , s = 1.25metre

hope it wi help u mark as brainlist ans
