Here we have ,
initial velocity = u = 5m/s
final velocity = v = 0m/s
acceleration = a = -10m/s²
distance = height = s = ?
time = t = ?

v² - u² = 2as
(0)² - (5)² = 2(-10)s
0 - 25 = -20S
-25/-20 = S
5/4 = S
1.25 m = s
so height is 1.25m

a = v-u/t
at = v-u
t = v-u/a
t = 0-5/-10
t = -5/-10
t = 5/10
t = 0.5 s
Time is 0.5 second
