Given :-

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 20 m/s
  • Time (t) = 2 s
  • Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 10 m/s

To Find :-

  • Height (h)

A stone is thrown up, so it means it is currently going i.e it's the Initial Velocity and how much high it will go after 2 second,so we take time t and we have to find height

Thus, finding how high the stone will go...

→ s = ut + ½gt²

→ s = 20 × 2 + ½ × 10 × (2)²

→ s = 40 + ½ × 10 × 4

→ s = 40 + ½ × 40

→ s = 40 + 20

→ s = 60

Thus, the height is 60 m
