A stone is thrown upwards, reaches a heighth
and comes back. What are the distance moved
and displacement ?​

distance is moved but no displacement occured as it has come back to its original position and work is done according to physics..

let the height be h.

distance traveled = h+h = 2h . (As the stone has gone upwards and came downwards).

displacement = 0m (as the stone returns to the starting point)
