A stone is thrown upwards with a velocity of 20 m/s .Calculate the maximum height reached by the stone.(g=10 m/s2)​

At maximum height speed of stone is zero
So using equation
v^2 = u^2 + 2as
v= 0 , u = 20 , a=-10 (as it’s is in opposite direction)
s = max height
0 = 400 - 20s
20s = 400
s= 20
Hence proved
