A stone is thrown vertically in upward direction with a velocity of 20 m/s. What will be the height attained by the stone and how much time will it take to reach there ?​

intital velocity (u) = 20m/s

acceleration due to gravity = -10 m/s

from v=u+at

0=20-10t

t=2sec

applying S=ut+1/2at^2

20×2+1/2×(-10)×2×2

40+(-5×4)

=20m
