What a easy question yaar !! Anyone who knows how to solve these questions can solve it. It is just a bit tricky. You should Know two things to solve this type of questions.

1.) During free fall, “U” is 0 and “g” is 10 m/s²

2.) When you've thrown the body then “U" will have some value but still the “g” will be 10 m/s².

Here, S is needed.

Here, U=5m/S

T=8s

g= 10m/s²

S=?

Here, V is not given. So you have to use simply the S= ut+1/2gt² formula.

Use the formula and derive your answer. ( Please don't mind as I am not going to show you all the steps but only the 1st step and the final answer as typing these numeric steps is really hard and time consuming )

S= (5×8) + 1/2(10×8×8)

Or, S= 360m
