Graph is shown in the figure.
Here a stone is thrown upwards with an initial velocity u, its takes time t to reach a maximum height h where its velocity becomes zero. Now it returns as its velocity steadily increases in magnitude but is in negative direction. The stone reaches the ground in time t'.
