a stone is thrown vertically upward with a velocity of 20 m per second what will be the maximum height attained by the stone and how much time it will take to reach there. [value of g equals to 10 M per second square]

v= 0m/s
s= h = maximum height it reaches
g=10 m/s^2

by using kinematic equation,
v^2= u^2 - 2gh
0= 400 - 2×10×h
20h =400
h= 20m

by using equation
v= u-gt
0= 20 -10×t
10t = 20
t = 2sec
