minimum velocity at lowest point for vertical circular motion

(Vmin) = √ (5gr)

given , r= 0.5 m let g= 10m/sec²

=> vel of stone at lowest pt

≥ √(5×10×0.5) = √25 = 5 m/ sec

Answer V 5m/sec

Additional information:-

(1) min velocity at top = gr

(2) min velocity when rope is parallel to horizontal = 3gr
