m=100g

=0.1kg,

r=50cm = 0.5m,

g=9.8m/s²,

v_{L} =7m/s

To find : Velocity at the highest point v_{H}

v_{H} = \sqrt{\frac{2(TE_{H})}{m} - 4gr}

Calculation : Total energy at highest point,

T.E (H )=K.E at lowest point = \frac{1}{2} mv^{2} _{L}

∴T.E_{H}= \frac{1}{2} x 0.1 x 7²

=2.45J

From formula,

v_{H} = \sqrt{\frac{2(2.45)}{0.1} - 4 * 9.8 * 0.5}

     = \sqrt{29.4} = 5.422m/s

The velocity at the highest point is 5.422m/s
