Hello❤️

Mass = 2kg
Height = 100m

Potential energy = mgh
Potential energy = 2×10×100 (say, g=10m/s²)
Potential energy = 2000 N

Potential energy for half distance = 2×10×50
= 1000N

Potential energy is being converted into kinetic energy.
Therefore, Kinetic energy = 1000N

• • Total energy = P.E + K.E
= (1000+1000) N
=2000N

i hope this is helpful ♥️

Answer:

P.E= 1000J , K.E=1000J , T.E=2000J

Explanation:

The given mass = 2kg

Height given=100m

 P.E at highest point= mgh = 2 x 10 x 100m= 2000J

T.E= 2000 + 0= 2000J .................. i

P.E at lowest point= mgh  (take h as 50m as half height mentioned)

                              = 2 x 10 x 50

                              = 1000J.......................... ii

Total Energy= P.E + K.E

                 i  =  ii  +  K.E

      2000J   = 1000J + K.E

       K.E        =  2000J - 1000J= 1000J

Therefore =>   K.E=1000J

                        P.E=1000J

                        T.E=2000J

Hope this helps
