u=3m/s

v=0

a=g=10m/s^2

(velocity of a body moving upwqard is decreasing so acceleration is negative)

v^2=u^2+2as

0=3^2+2×−10×s

0=9−20s

20s=9, s= 9/20

U=mgh=20×10×9/20

=90J
