Given

  • Mass of stone (m) = 60gm
  • Volume (v) = 20cm³

To find

  • Density in S.I unit

Solution

1 kg = 1000gm

  • 60gm = 0.06kg

1m³ = 1000000 cm³

  • 20cm³ = 0.00002m³

According to the given condition

➡ Density = mass/volume

➡ Density = 0.06/0.00002

➡ Density = 6/2 × 10000/100

➡ Density = 3 × 100

➡ Density = 300kg/m³

Hence,

  • Density of stone is 300kg/m³

Additional Information

  • 1 kilometre = 1000 meters
  • 1 hour = 60 minutes
  • 1 minute = 60 seconds
  • 1 liter = 1000 milliliter
  • 1 year = 52 weeks approx
