let us suppose the height of the tower to be h,

time, t = 4sec

acceleration = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s²

therefore dfrom the equation S = ut + 1/2 a t²

we have, h = 0×4 + 1/2×9.8×(4)²

i.e h = 78.4 metres
