A stop watch is used, when an athlete runs.
Answers
Answer:
In a race, a stopwatch is used to determine the exact times of an athlete’s performance. This is useful for comparing runners to each other who have never specifically competed against each other.
Outside of Races, a stopwatch is used to record a pace. For example, when running 400m repeats, a stopwatch is used to record my pace so that I know if I need to speed up for the desired workout pace.
You could also use a stopwatch to record how long you’ve been going: as in if you are trying to run for “40 minutes.”
Use of stopwatch when the athlete runs:
• When an athlete runs, the stopwatch is used to compare their performance with each other.
• The one who takes less time to complete the target wins the race and others who take less time to achieve the desired target loses the race.
• The stopwatch technique is a suitable method of timing a Head race, but only with a strongly defined procedure.
