Step-by-step explanation:

Given

A storage tank at a petrol station is a cuboid 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m deep. In one day if all 7200 litres of petrol from the tank what is the fall in the level of the petrol in the tank?

If all the petrol the petrol of about 7200 litres evaporates

Then volume of petrol evaporated will be 7200 x 1000 cm^3

= 7200000 cm^3

Now area of cross section of tank = 400 x 300 cm^3

= 120000 cm^3

So fall in the level of petrol tank is 7200000 / 120000

= 60 cm
