Hi,

Let

the length of the storage tank = s m

Volume of the water in the tank =

Volume of the cube = s ^3 m^3

According to the problem,

s^3 = 15.625 m^3

s^3 = ( 2.5 )^3

s = 2.5 m

Present depth of the water = h1 = 1.3 m

Depth of the used water =h2 = s - h

= 2.5 - 1.3

h2 = 1.2 m

Therefore,

Volume of the used water

= length of the tank × length of the

breadth × depth of the used water

= s × s × h2

= 2.5 × 2.5 × 1.2

= 7.5 m^3

I hope this will useful to you.
