Anticipating the disappointment, he greeted them nervously. However, his wife and children welcomed him home cheerfully. His wife had explained to her children about the heavy workload of their father. The children too understood about the stress and tension of their father in his workplace. On hearing this, the father promised the children to take them out the next day.
