It was unreal but it was actually happening. I was walking down an extremely long corridor. There were no windows nor any doors. I was panting and sweating. After walking for quite some time I saw a door to my left that was ajar. There was bright light flooding out of the door and I could hear faint whispers. No they were not whispers but a strange sort of sound. Curiosity flooded over me. Gingerly opening the door, I stepped inside the room. But to my astonishment it was deserted. Shiver ran through my back. The room had an odd aura . I took a deep breath and ran back towards the door. But as I was running the door shut with a loud bang. How could the door have shut ? It can't be the wind because there were no windows here. Can it be.....was the place haunted. If it is haunted then I have to run.....run for my life. I went to the door . I was banging it. I was crying for help . I was trying with all my might to push the door open. But my efforts were futile .
Then i heard it. A scream. It was a woman's scream. It was so horrible and high pitched that I clapped my hands to my ears.
But then I woke up with a start.I was lying on the floor with my earphones still in my ear. The earphones were connected to my laptop in which I had been watching a horror movie. Then I realized that I might have drifted off to sleep while watching the movie. I was relieved to know all of the strange things were going on in my head and it wasn't real. I understood one thing-Clearly horror movies are not meant for me. And that I will never watch them alone and at night ever again. So then I removed the earphones from my ears and shut the laptop down. I took a great gulp of water from the glass which was kept beside my bed. Calming myself down I went back to sleep again.
