He began to walk toward Miss Bevil’s children’s home ;the place he was to reside in till the day came of him to be adopted till then; this home was ran by an old lady named Miss Bevil;she wasn’t very nice and wouldn’t let you have any fun at all and if you were to disobey her she would throw you into the attic with all the mice and cobwebs “yuck” anyway the boy whose name was Lucas Miller but Luca for short had went to bed thinking of all the consequences of his so thought terrible decision but managed to sleep. In the morning he had got up ate his breakfast and had gotten ready to sell cookies cause he was a Boy Scout and just before all his cookies had sold out he had went to the lady’s house whose key he had stolen and gave her free cookies. The very next day the lady was very I’ll and had to go to the clinic and Luca had known about this and had sneaked in through back door with his key and to his surprise the house was dirty and a stingy smell had emerged from the oven where the smell of fresh baked cookies should had seeped there were weeds in the garden in the place of budding tulips and daises and then there was a chest Luca opened the chest and to his most surprise there was a necklace with a sapphire and on the back was carved Gemma and David he closed the chest an put it back and looked down at his key which was dangling from the chain of his Shorts and on the key was a little heart and it said the Millers he was stunned by this since his last name was also Miller. Next he went up the stairs and went into a room that had the a drawing of a little boy ; in the room was a big chest but the room was quite dark cause of the dust on the windows it had a lock engraved with the words Lucas Miller and with a heart on the bottom he looked down at his key and tried and it worked inside was a picture of him but it was torn his heart started beating very fast he took the only picture of his parents out of his pocket which was also torn straight down the middle and then he had stuck it together then he had to go back to the children’s home. But before he lest the house he had written a note with the picture and the necklace and his name after a week he had forgotten about the whole thing and the same lady had come to visit and he was scared since the police were after him since he had stolen the key and as suspected they asked for Lucas Miller and Miss Bevil called him in and then they were so happy to see him and the hugged him tight and adopted him after this my friends is for another story of another happy ending
