answer: The water was cold, I took a deep breath and jumped into it. The first few seconds found me falling down from the huge cliff; my body went numb the moment it hit the ice cold water.
For ten years now, the diving exercise has been a part of my daily routine. I absolutely love my village pond and consider myself lucky to have been born here- a place that so abounds in natural resources! Our village is very green- there are lots of trees and water bodies but none of them is as deep and big as the village pond.
I love swimming and have even saved numerous children from drowning in the water. The pond overlooks a gigantic hill from the rocky cliff of which I dive every morning. This won't continue long, though. There hasn't been any rain in this region since three years now and I am afraid the pond would dry up in a couple of years if the situation continues this way.
The villagers have begun constructing check dams and gullies to help maintain our village pond. As long as we all together work to save our good old pond, there's a ray of hope!

An Imaginary Story : A Mysterious Creature
I was a fulfilled girl, I had everything from having a perfect family to a perfect lover anyone can demand of until one day, something darkness and unknown happened. Me & my love were hanging out in the night sky near a beach, when I heard a whisper saying "get away from here" I was stunned by that whisper at first , I could also see the exact reaction on my lover's face. We didn't knew what to do and my lover said " it's nothing, I guess someone is just pranking us" . so by my lover's words, i calmed and we started talking then by a slight of darkness, we heard a scream , coming from behind the bushes, a very unusual one, I felt like someone is crying for death. We both were scared and were sweating fiercely . We kept ignoring it many times , but all we could hear was that unknown scream. Now I decided that I wanted to know where & how that sound was coming. We walked fierecly & horrificly to the bushes and I pushed some bushes where I could see was a jackal that was overtooking a girl, she was pale & numb. I couldn't resist my feelings as I tackled the jackal to me. The jackal was now towards me as I ran for my life, my lover took take the Armor and hitted the jackal as hard as he could. It wasn't it's end.The jackal stood as it was bleeding and attacked my love, I couldn't do anything. In the fierce fight between them two, the jackal pushed my love to the water and it disappeared in darkness.I got to realise that The creature that I undertook as jackal was something mysterious. I was Hopeless & first thing I got to do was run for the love of my life instead of wondering what that creature was.The water was cold,I took a deep breath and jumped into it . The could see my love & his gleaming eyes. I went down and pulled him towards the surface. He was not concious. He had water in his lungs, i pushed the water out and at a sudden, he exploded to conciousness. I got back my life. We sitted there for hours and analysed the scene there and then we horrificly went back to our houses. It was an admising experience , and from then I kept having nightmares about that mysterious creature but thanks to the love of my life, he is always there by my side & my pain becomes less with him♡
