SOLUTION

Let C and D be the two points of the car and AB be the tower

Let C and D be the two points of the car and AB be the towerLet speed of the car = v unit/sec.

In ABC,

=) tan 60° = AB/BC

=) 3= y/x

=) y= 3x........(1)

Also, In ABD,

=) tan 30° = AB/BD

=) 1/3= 3x/x+ 6v

=) x= 3v

=) Hence,

Required time =} distance/speed

=) BC/v

=) x/v seconds

=) 3v/v = 3 seconds

hope it helps ✔️
