Answer:

m= change in y/change in x

= 8-5/6-0

=3/6

=1/2

The second point (0,5) has x=0 and y=5. The y-intercept always has the coordinates in such a way that x is always 0 for a corresponding value for y. Therefore:

c=5

y= 1/2 x + 5
