A streamer goes down stream covers the distance between two ports in 5 hours while it covers the same distance upstream in 6 hours. If the speed of the stream is 2 km/hr, then find the speed of streamer in still water . PLEASE ANSWER IN ONE VARIABLE.

let we. take the speed be "x"

Distance covered in upstream=2(x-6)=2x-12

distance covered in downstream=2(x+5)=2x+10

2x-12=2x+10

2x-2x=10+12

0=22
