A street lane is to be paved with tiles of length 12cm and breadth 10cm. If the length of the lane is 240cm and and breadth 12cm, find the number of tiles needed

area of Lane=240×12

=2880

area of one tile=12×10=120

NUMBER OF TILE=2880/120

=24tiles
